    Description

    Vintage 1964 - 1965 Glass Souvenir Plate from the New York World's Fair.  Made by Houze Art in Marion, Pennsylvania, USA.
    Great mid-century graphics of fair highlights: Lunar Fountain, Main Mall, Monorail, Heliport, U.S. Pavilion, and General Motors building.
    Center motife is globe and phrase “New York World’s Fair 1964 – 1965 ~ Peace Through Understanding”.
    Could be a trinket dish, ash tray, or nut bowl. Glass is a dark smoke grey with gold / gilt accents. Color motifs are blue, black, gold, green and white. Marked underneath with words “Houze Art ~ Pt. Marion PA ~ Made in U.S.A.”.
