Antique All Original Jules Steiner Paper Mache Doll in Original Box

Description

This is a beautiful antique paper mache doll, created in France by Jules Nicholas Steiner.  I am helping a very good friend sell parts of her collection, and she has treasured this for some time. She tells me that this was a Gold Horse doll, purchased from Theriault's.  She entered it one year at a UFDC National Convention, and she placed second against another doll of the same type.  This doll is all original and comes with her original box. She stands 22" tall.  There are a few wig glue spots, which can be seen in the photo. In the nude photo of her back, please note a bare spot on her neck where it connects.  These are the only issues she can find, and they are very minor.
