  • Condition: The glasses and case are new. The plastic slip case plastic packaging is not mint, but in very good condition. The glasses have been stored since I got them in 1995. They have never been out of the case except to take the pictures for this listing. Research revealed that these glasses were Jerry Garcia's last merchandising project in 1995 the year he died. Please see the full description of the quality of the lenses and glasses in the picture of the side of the slip case. The glasses have a Dancing Bear on the front of each temple, with "Terrapin" embossed on the left temple and words, 'Eyes of the World," embossed on the right temple.     Description

    Limited "Terrapin" Eyes of the World edition sunglasses with high rated UV protection lenses and high quality frames. Produced under the supervision of Jerry Garcia in 1995. Research revealed that this was the last merchandise project he worked on before he died. The glasses have a Dancing Bear on the front of each temple and the word, "Terrapin" is embossed on the inside of the left temple, and the words,"Eyes of the World," are embossed on the inside of the right temple. The case is a smooth  leather or leather imitation lined with a a soft material in maroon. Eyes of the World is printed in a cool script inside the cover of the case. The plastic slipcase is in very good condition (see the picture of the side panel for details of what Jerry suggested you do with the plastic slipcase).  A limited edition item that is a great piece of utilitarian Dead memorabilia.
