    SkiLogik
    is happy to announce the release of 420 pairs of numbered, limited edition Grateful Dead skis. The new skis, entitled Grateful Touch, feature artwork developed by Mariella using the iconic imagery of the Grateful Dead and will be available for sale through www.SkiLogik.com beginning July 9th, 2013.
    Dead Heads and hardcore skiers alike will appreciate the craftsmanship and artistry that goes into making each custom-built pair of SkiLogik’s handcrafted skis. Unlike mass produced ski brands, SkiLogik follows its own path, much like the band that inspired the new ‘Grateful Touch‘ artwork.
    “The partnership with SkiLogik is a natural fit for us,” states Sara Nemerov, SVP and Head of Global Consumer Products & Brand Licensing for Warner Music Group. “We are always looking for unusually high quality products that stand out from the pack. SkiLogik’s skis are unlike any others we’ve seen. We’re thrilled with their originality and believe Grateful Dead fans will love them.”
    “The Grateful Dead has always been a huge source of inspiration for me,” adds David Mazzarella, SkiLogik’s founder and visionary ski designer. “I’ve seen them perform many times and, like Dead shows, no two pairs of our skis are exactly the same. This is an opportunity for us to use our creativity to honor theirs.”
    SkiLogik’s burst onto the ski scene in 2010 with a plethora of performance awards, including RealSkier’s Ski of the Year; 2013
    Powder Magazine’s
    Skier’s Choice Award;
    Skiing Magazine’s
    Official Selection Award; and
    Freeskier’s
    Editor’s Pick Award. SkiLogik has continued to win prestigious performance awards every year. Each pair is an artistic masterpiece featuring handcrafted wood veneer inlays and mother of pearl accents. Coupled with SkiLogik’s innovative technology, including Black Magic™ base material, black locust sidewalls and Vektor 8™ carbon fiber construction, SkiLogik stands out from the crowd in performance, durability and artistry.
