    Description

    Vintage 1925 Illinois resident hook and line fishing license. Shipped with USPS First Class.
    This is a rare original Illinois fishing license, Issued to J. Hodney, or perhaps T. Hodney, on May 26, 1925. Mr. Hodney was tall and thin, 6' 5 3/4" and 210 lbs. He hailed from the City of Wheaton.
    The paper is complete with a few slight creases, and 4 small tears, one through "line" and one through "license" at the top, one below "fish" and one below "warden" at the bottom. The document measures 4 3/8" by 3". It has official raised embossing on the lower right corner. Does not appear to be stained, although it has yellowed with age. Suitable for framing.
